Ablative lasers remove tissue at the skin surface. Non-ablative lasers pass through the epidermis and deposit their energy beneath it, leaving the surface intact. The thulium and Er:Glass 2-in-1 is non-ablative across both wavelengths and carries no shot limit per procedure.
