A diode laser emits one narrow wavelength, so all of its energy lands where it was aimed. IPL is filtered broadband light, which trades that focus for the ability to run several services from one lamp. SHR sits between them: rapid low-energy pulses in motion rather than one high-energy shot. Three platforms, three different answers to the same room.

The MONA ONE deliberately filters out longer infrared above 950nm, the part of the spectrum that generates surplus heat and side effects. That is a design decision, not a limitation.

A diode laser emits one narrow wavelength — 808nm on the P-808 — so all of its energy sits where it was aimed. IPL is filtered broadband light, and the MONA ONE filters its output to 650–950nm deliberately, excluding the longer infrared that generates surplus heat. The trade-off is focus against flexibility: the same IPL console also runs skin rejuvenation, pigment and acne work.
The P-MIX adds 1064nm alongside 755nm and 808nm, and 1064nm is the wavelength that platform is positioned around for darker skin. The HIDL-3000 states coverage across all six Fitzpatrick types at 808nm with 360° contact cooling at minus 16°C. Suitability for any individual patient is a practitioner judgement made at the chair, not a specification, and we will not make it for you.
The P-808 handpiece carries no shot limit, so its cost per treatment does not climb with volume. The MONA ONE SHR-950B uses UK-imported lamps rated at approximately 1,000,000 shots, which are a replaceable consumable. Parts and consumables are sourced through us rather than through a customs process every time. Exact consumable pricing is confirmed in writing with the quote.
The P-MIX fires 755nm, 808nm and 1064nm from a single handpiece specifically so one console covers fine and light hair, everyday bulk treatment and darker skin without turning patients away or compromising settings. If throughput rather than range is your constraint, the HIDL-3000's 5.2 cm² applicator runs about 40% faster than a conventional spot instead.
